The Nordic Swan Ecolabel

As of 2026-02-02, we hold a Nordic Swan Ecolabel licence, covering both a manufacturer licence and a product licence.

Requirements for Swan Ecolabelled Products

Swan Ecolabelled products ensure that the product meets, among other things, the following requirements:

• Fibres must be either organic, recycled, or based on renewable raw materials that meet specific environmental criteria.

• UN labour conventions (ILO) must be followed throughout production.

• Environmental and health requirements apply to the chemicals used in textile production.

Sustainable Handling of Unsold Swan Ecolabelled Goods

We continuously work to minimise waste in our manufacturing and to take responsibility for products that do not meet the requirements to be sold at the regular price. In line with the Swan’s requirements, these products are handled in a way that prioritises and enables continued use and reuse.

Products that do not meet the requirements for regular sale, but are still fully functional, are sold as seconds in our own factory shop and on our website.

Products that do not meet the requirements for regular sale and also do not meet the requirements to be sold as seconds are donated to charity, so they can be put to use instead of going to waste.

Quality Follow-up

Our goal is for our products to be used for as long as possible. That is why we continuously work with quality monitoring and production improvements to reduce the share of products that need to be handled as seconds.
